Aid Courses
Fully Qualified first aid courses are run over a four week period
one day per week, ending in a practical & theory examination,
comprising: Administration. Control, Treatment, Hygiene, Communication
and Management of casualties.
Appointed Persons first aid courses are run over
a one day period. This course will enable the person to carry
out emergency first aid treatment, and assist a fully qualified
first aider.
Requalification first aid courses are run over
a two day period ending in a practical & theory examination,
comprising:. Administration, Control, Treatment, Hygiene, Communication
and Management of casualties.
Successful candidates will be issued a certificate,
which will expire after 3 years. To renew your qualification
you must book onto a course before your expiry date.

Outlining current regulations and requirements including how
to carry out a Risk Assessment for COSHH and the associated
documentation.
Manual Handling / VDU / DSE
Course
Knowledge about materials handling. Containing facts & figures
about back injuries. specific guidance on the effects of lifting
on the spine.
Assessor
/ Keyskills Practitioner Awards
Personal development for pursuing a range of keyskills / Vocational
Assessor and Verifier awards. Building a portfolio containing
evidence of competence, which will be assessed by our qualified
team of assessors and verifiers.
